The TOP GEAR Suspension Fork V2 provides integrated suspension at the front casters, helping reduce the vibration and shock transferred through the wheelchair when travelling over uneven footpaths, pavers, surface joins and other rough terrain encountered in everyday use.

Designed as a premium upgrade for compatible rigid manual wheelchairs, the forks feature interchangeable suspension springs, forged titanium caster axles and a sealed design to help protect the internal components from dust and water.

A Smoother Ride

Front casters are often the first part of a wheelchair to encounter cracks, joins and other surface irregularities. The integrated suspension system allows the fork to absorb some of these impacts rather than transferring them directly through the wheelchair.

This can help provide a smoother and more comfortable ride, particularly for users regularly travelling over uneven outdoor surfaces.

Interchangeable Suspension

The TOP GEAR Suspension Fork V2 uses interchangeable springs, allowing the suspension resistance to be adjusted to suit different users, riding preferences and conditions.

The forks are supplied with the medium spring installed, with a strong spring also included for users who prefer or require a firmer suspension setup.

Tested for Performance & Durability

TOP GEAR has tested the Suspension Fork V2 over 500km using a simulated road surface with obstacles. Testing was completed at 3km/h with a 20kg load applied to the fork, with the Suspension Fork V2 passing the manufacturer's durability test.

Manufacturer vibration testing has also demonstrated the suspension system's ability to reduce bouncing and vibration following impacts when compared with a standard rigid caster fork.

Wheelchair Compatibility

TOP GEAR advises that the Suspension Fork V2 is suitable for selected TiLite, ROVE and TeamHOC wheelchairs.
