Wheelchair Bearing Removal & Installation Stand
A stable, purpose-built work surface for easier wheelchair bearing removal and installation.
This bearing stand supports wheelchair wheels, casters and fork components while bearings are removed or installed, providing clearance underneath for the bearing and removal tools. The non-marring rubber surface helps protect precision wheelchair components while you work.
Why You'll Love It
- Purpose-built: Designed specifically for servicing wheelchair bearings.
- Protects your components: Non-marking rubber top helps prevent scratches and damage to aluminium wheels, hubs, casters and fork components.
- Built-in clearance: Figure-8 opening allows bearings and removal tools to pass through the stand during servicing.
- Stable work surface: Supports components securely on a workbench, table or other suitable surface.
- Clamp compatible: Can be clamped to your work surface for additional stability.
- Durable construction: Made from hard maple for long-term workshop or home use.
Compatible With
- 608 (8mm) wheelchair caster bearings
- R6 (3/8") wheelchair caster bearings
- R8 (1/2") wheelchair rear wheel and fork bearings
- Other common manual wheelchair bearing sizes between 608 and R8
Designed For
The figure-8 through-hole is designed to accommodate common manual wheelchair bearing sizes, from smaller 608 (8mm) caster bearings through to larger R8 (1/2") rear wheel and fork bearings. This makes it a useful companion to wheelchair bearing pullers, presses and installation tools when servicing multiple areas of your chair.
How It Helps
Removing or installing bearings on a flat bench can leave nowhere for the bearing, extractor or installation tool to move as it passes through the component. The stand supports the wheel, caster or fork while leaving an open area underneath, making bearing servicing easier while helping protect the component from damage.
