Fitted with high-volume 24 × 2.0" (50-507) off-road tyres, the overall rolling diameter sits between a typical 24" (540) and 25" (559) wheelchair wheel setup. This makes them a versatile off-road option for users of either wheel size.

For 24" (540) users, the larger tyre provides increased ground clearance, cushioning and off-road capability compared with a conventional everyday 24" tyre. For 25" (559) users, the high-volume 50-507 tyre brings the overall wheel diameter close to a conventional 25" setup while providing a much wider tyre footprint for improved performance over uneven terrain.

Depending on your existing tyre size and wheel lock position, some adjustment to your wheel locks may be required when switching between your everyday wheels and these off-road wheels.

Axle Pins Included

These wheels are manufactured as standard to suit 1/2" (12.7 mm) quick-release axle pins.

We will contact you before dispatch to confirm the axle pin length required for your wheelchair and supply the appropriate 1/2" quick-release axle pins with your wheels.

If your wheelchair uses 12 mm axles, the wheels can also be converted to suit a 12 mm axle setup for no additional fee.
