The Spinergy SLX Off-Road Wheelset is our highest-performance off-road wheel option, combining the durability and precision of Spinergy wheels with a purpose-built tyre setup designed for outdoor terrain and personalised to suit your wheelchair setup.

Built using the renowned Spinergy SLX 507 rim, this configuration allows the use of wider off-road tyres that dramatically improve traction, stability and comfort on surfaces where traditional wheelchair tyres struggle.

This setup is ideal for navigating grass, gravel paths, dirt trails, parks, festivals, camping areas and other uneven terrain while maintaining the lightweight performance and build quality Spinergy wheels are known for.

Each wheelset is configured to order, allowing you to customise spoke colour, handrims and axle options to suit your wheelchair and personal preferences.

The SLX wheel uses Spinergy’s 4mm spokes and SLX Sport hub for excellent durability and reliability when riding over rough or inconsistent surfaces.

Wheel Size

This listing is for the 24" off-road configuration, suitable for wheelchairs that normally use 24" wheels.

Tyre Options

The 24" configuration offers two tyre setups depending on the terrain you expect to travel over.

• 47-507 Tyre (Everyday Off-Road) – A lighter and faster rolling option designed for mixed use, including footpaths, grass, gravel paths and general outdoor terrain. Best suited for everyday use and pushing over longer distances.
• 50-507 Tyre (Heavy Duty Off-Road) – A wider tyre that provides increased grip, cushioning and stability on rougher terrain such as loose gravel, dirt tracks and soft, uneven ground. Best suited for users prioritising off-road performance over rolling efficiency.

Both tyre options provide significantly more traction and stability compared with standard narrow wheelchair tyres.

For wheelchairs that normally use 24″ wheels (such as 25-540, 37-540 tyres), these wheels can typically be swapped in and out with your everyday wheels without needing to adjust the brakes.
