The Spinergy SLX Off-Road Wheelset is our highest-performance off-road wheel option, combining the durability and precision of Spinergy wheels with a purpose-built tyre setup designed for outdoor terrain and personalised to suit your wheelchair setup.

Built using the renowned Spinergy SLX 507 rim, this configuration allows the use of wider off-road tyres that dramatically improve traction, stability and comfort on surfaces where traditional wheelchair tyres struggle.

This setup is ideal for navigating grass, gravel paths, dirt trails, parks, festivals, camping areas and other uneven terrain while maintaining the lightweight performance and build quality Spinergy wheels are known for.

Each wheelset is configured to order, allowing you to customise spoke colour, handrims and axle options to suit your wheelchair and personal preferences.

The SLX wheel uses Spinergy’s 4mm spokes and SLX Sport hub for excellent durability and reliability when riding over rough or inconsistent surfaces.

Wheel Size

This listing is for the 25" off-road configuration, suitable for wheelchairs that normally use 25" wheels.

Tyre Setup

The 25" configuration uses a 50-507 off-road tyre paired with the Spinergy SLX 507 rim.

This is the heavier-duty off-road setup, designed for riders who want maximum grip and stability on rougher terrain such as gravel tracks, dirt trails and softer ground.

Although the rim size differs from standard 25" wheelchair wheels, the larger tyre produces a very similar overall wheel diameter to a typical 25-559 (25") wheelchair tyre. This allows wider off-road tyres to be used while maintaining a familiar ride height.

For most wheelchairs that normally use 25-559 tyres, these wheels can typically be swapped in and out with everyday wheels without needing to adjust the brakes.

While this setup is optimised for more demanding terrain, it still rolls smoothly enough for everyday outdoor use such as parks, paths and general riding around town.
